Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project aims to test the interest in, and need for, a web and mobile platform as a new way of making it possible for people to get involved in their city´s development. The idea is to provide young people, residents, local businesses, civil society organizations and local authorities a powerful and easy platform to come together and make good things happen.

Results and expected effects

The outcome of the project is the technological platform that is now fully developed and ready for launch. Furthermore, the young people delivered what they should, ideas that become content in the early stage of the technology platform. That we already during the development period succeeded in selling the platform to two customers shows that there is a bright future for the project and the platform.

Approach and implementation

The project followed the principle of specified objectives and activity plan. The early changes in the lay-up was the recruitment of a project manager who came to have platform development as the focus of her work. She in turn led the participatng youth regarding market research, recruitment of ideas to the platform and soo on. The technical development dragged on and was delivered two months later than expected, but we were prepared for it, with regards to previous web development experience.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
