Important results from the project
The project was planned to be the last step in a number of activities to develop and evaluate the technique and was aimed at facilitating the commercial exploitation of the technical achievements previously made. The improvements planned were largely carried through.
Expected long term effects
The operation of the instrument was succesfully automated. As a result we can continue our plans to commercialise the equipment.
Approach and implementation
To be able to accomplish the project within the timetable set up it was divided into 6 subprojects that could be run independently. Some parts took more time than planned although the project as a whole followed the timetable quite well.
