Coordinator VIKTORIA SWEDISH ICT AB - Viktoria Swedish ICT AB - Göteborg
Funding from Vinnova SEK 24 706
Project duration August 2015 - September 2015
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The aim of this VINNMER Marie Curie Incoming Planning grant was to provide support to Patricia van Loon for the preparation of a full application for the Marie Curie Incoming grant. Given the project´s limited scope and budget, the fulfilment of this aim was achieved with relative ease in that the full application was submitted before the deadline and within the project budget.

Results and expected effects

During the visit in August, Patricia spent time meeting researchers at Viktoria Swedish ICT, discussing opportunities for future collaboration, and finalising the career development plan for implementation during future employment at Viktoria Swedish ICT. The full application for the Marie Curie Incoming grant was finalised after this visit and was submitted on 16 September 2015. If the application proves successful, the resulting project will generate numerous benefits for Patricia and both Viktoria and INSEAD. We look forward to potential future collaborations.

Approach and implementation

Patricia visited Viktoria Swedish ICT during the last two weeks of August. A draft application for the Marie Curie Incoming grant was prepared during this period and was finalised through several phone calls and skype meetings in September. The career development plan proved to be quite simple to create. It was more challenging to create concrete opportunities for collaboration between Viktoria and INSEAD, partly due to the fact that the two organisations are not that well acquainted, but also because the project could not finance a visit to INSEAD as originally planned.
