Purpose and goal

Based on modern psychological science we have created a program för public sector leaders to enhance innovation capacity, Innovation Behaviour Management IBM. There is two versions of the program, one open and one for management teams. These programs are based on mix of workshops and coaching sessions. In an iterative process we have created and tested new experiential exercises. To give a enhanced knowledge in the processes that reinforces or blocks innovation both in my personal leadership and in the organisation there I work.

Expected results and effects

We have developed six new experiential exercises fore IBM. On the individual level several participants experience new perspectives, and tools in their leadership regarding innovation. They assess all exercises as new, fresh and highly relevant for understanding innovation on a personal and fore their organization. On the organisational level the client organization has initiated a row of improvements both regarding events, information structure and allocation of financial resources

Planned approach and implementation

During the project we conducted a series of internal project workshops. Where we developed our program (Innovation Behaviour Management) based on experience, research and client needs. The development process itself was a iterative process there we prototyped our workshops and exercises. In three occasions we met with our client and conducted LABS, for concept evaluation. We evaluated our concept in different ways. As a result of this process we left the initial idea of a train the trainer program to a consultant lead program. We had also a researcher that took part as a observer
