Purpose and goal

Governo´s project has focused on the role of governance for an organization´s capability to be innovative. The project had the overall aim of strengthening the present services offered by having the goal of developing one or more services in close cooperation with a prospective client. Purpose and objectives of the project were met within given requirements. The service per se will however continue to evolve and be adapted to different organizations´ needs and conditions.

Expected results and effects

The project was expected to generate value for its participants. To our knowledge, that expectation was met. For us, it was beneficial to develop the service in close dialogue with our counterparts (potential client) as it enabled instant feed-back. Our assessment is also that our counterparts gained insights from being part of the project. The meetings, in which different consulting firms, researchers and trial potential clients, has also been of great value.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was implemented in close collaboration with our counter part in Örebro municipality. Through interviews and workshops with managers and employees, and document analysis, the service emerged. The workshops, arranged within Ledarskapslabbet and meetings with reserachers have also provided arenas for service development. The fact that the program had a relatively long time span, in combination with an explorative approach from Vinnova, has been challenging, but also rewarding for us.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
