Important results from the project
The project has achieved its goal of establishing a new national infrastructure for the commercialization and development of advanced therapies and enabling technologies. A new company has been built and launched with the necessary functions. The project has also contributed to increased visibility for the area and for Sweden from an international perspective.
Expected long term effects
In the longer term, the project could result in establishing Sweden as a leading country in the development and manufacturing of advanced therapies with potential to be approved and implemented on the global market. This will ultimately create more jobs, generate tax revenues and contribute to increased investments.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented as a collaborative project between the newly started company CCRM Nordic, the industry players supporting the project and GU Ventures, where all jointly contributed expertise and resources to establish the infrastructure. CCRM Nordic is a non-profit company and is run as a limited liability company.
