Important results from the project

As part of the development of the Swedish support structure for social entrepreneurship our goal was to develop programmes and support for entrepreneurs across Sweden. We´ve had the opportunity to support entrepreneurs through programmes, webinars and networks, as well as through using digital tools. The project has also provided the opportunity to gather learnings from these activities that we´ll take forward as we continue developing the support structure.

Expected long term effects

The programmes and activities received positive feedback and have led to improved skills amongst participants. We´ve also had opportunities to gather insights and knowledge to continue developing activities and the support structure for social entrepreneurship. We had wished for a clearer commitment from externa actors but lack of knowledge, other priorities and the pandemic has made this difficult, but it´s also led to the development of digital tools, new contacts and a stronger commitment within the sector.

Approach and implementation

The basis of the project was the six-month pilot programme where entrepreneurs from various industries and parts of the country received education and coaching in business development, sales, marketing, leadership, funding, partnership and impact. Based on the learnings, we´ve also developed webinars, educational programmes and networks that have also given us further knowledge about what´s needed to strengthen the support structure for social entrepreneurship.
