Additional important market data, especially regarding the Baltics and Poland, have been supplied by them as well. Business opportunities have increased through the process and has been defined and outlined in a business plan. The project has also suggested a new model for industry cooperation which will facilitate further development and launch of planned commercial services. This complies well with the overall goals of the project.

Results and expected effects

The project has gained support from strategic industry organizations in Sweden and Finland for the need of cooperation and development of new safety and quality solutions, which also should include foreign labor. This process has also resulted in detailed ongoing negotiations regarding commercial partnerships for new services. Next step also includes a common development process to be launched during the spring of 2016 where a central part is to define a new basic standard for safety and quality, as well as to initiate hard development of services to be launched early 2017.

Approach and implementation

The project´s approach, based on mobilizing and involving strategic players in the industry, has proved to be successful in order to form cooperation with the right partners and outline a unique business plan based on the needs in the construction industry. These partners have been of great help supplying comprehensive information and input to the project. It is difficult to imagine a different approach since new solutions and infrastructure for increased safety and quality requires extensive cooperation between strategic industry organizations as well as commercial players.
