Reference number
Coordinator Preo Sweden AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 500 000
Project duration December 2016 - November 2017
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project´s goal was to develop and strengthen the digital innovation spirit and the entrepreneurial environment through the proposed work packages for later scaling in the entire Järva area and to build a base for further scaling up regionally and nationally. Work and studies were also some of the main goals for the project. We have achieved high social and economic sustainability in Järva through our successful results. This gives us a good opportunity to expand BLING to other socially vulnerable areas. Additional financial resources are required for upgrading the business.

Expected results and effects

Close interaction has been created between local role models and entrepreneurs where work and income were created through social entrepreneurship. An important tool has been the use of local role models as a positive and driving force for change. Through the work packages, BLING has contributed to increased entrepreneurial ability, while BLING gained a strong recruitment base for creating more companies. The number of individuals who contact BLING for starting own business has increased by approximately 300%.

Planned approach and implementation

Through documentation, project management and follow-up of work packages we have ensured the project´s progress and quality. A number of work packages were prepared to achieve the set goals. Besides, on its own, BLING has a large network of access to experts in various areas such as; sales, market, financing, production, organizational development and business development. The project has been implemented based on our established routines, processes and expertise. All activities have been done in close cooperation with our partners in our established network.
