Important results from the project

The purpose and objective of the project were to concretize the described idea and perform preparatory work before initiating a development project based on the concretisation. This included to obtain a deeper understanding of what it would mean to keep the recycling centers open 24 hours and how this could be done, and also at what cost. After completion of the project it can be concluded that the project´s purpose and objectives are well met. A concrete concept has been developed and documented process for introducing the concept of ´ÅVC24´ is in place.

Expected long term effects

The project has led to the expected concretization of the concept ´ÅVC24´ and resulted in a detailed process for realizing the concept. A large number of documents have been produced during the project, both as background material and to support an implementation. The project´s goal was to develop a project plan and project group for a development project, which has been done. Moreover, the goal was to write an application to Vinnova´s step 2 call, which, however, has not not been done as we have the opportunity to use in-house funding to carry out development.

Approach and implementation

The project was conducted in accordance with the project plan defined in the application document, which included five work packages. In addition to our own employees, we have also according to the plan hired a subcontractor, Omnigon AB, to perform tasks that are critical to the project, but where we do not have expertise. We also have in the project according to plan involved the University of Skövde, which is only a few steps away from our office. The University of Skovde conducts research within the areas of technology and IT which is highly relevant for the project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
