Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop and implement an automated system for registration and follow-up of dental implants using QR code scanning. The solution will ensure traceability, streamline data entry, and enable standardized documentation. The goal is to improve quality monitoring, facilitate research, and create a foundation for AI-based analyses in dental care.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver an efficient and user-friendly system for registration and follow-up of dental implants. Anticipated effects include improved traceability, enhanced patient safety, and standardized data collection, strengthening quality development and research while enabling AI-based analyses and innovative practices in dental care.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out in collaboration between dental care, registry operations, and technology developers. QR-based registration will be tested in a pilot setting focusing on usability and data quality. This will be followed by stepwise implementation and evaluation of system performance, workflow impact, and potential for quality monitoring and future AI-based analysis.
