Purpose and goal

The project of a automated 3D-printing service with on-demand production was achieved according to schedule.

Expected results and effects

E-commerce owners that has been involved in the project have been positive and truly engaged in the process. The possibility to engage their customers (consumers) and letting them personalize their have been the biggest selling point but also very time consuming. Finding the right amount of personalization and still be true to the designer and the brand has taken more time and been more complicated then anticipated.

Planned approach and implementation

Developing the service close to the customer has been rewarding and invaluable. Without our customers high expectations and demands the service would never been displayed in our customers web-shop. The extra time spent having several parties involved in the process have well been worth the effort.
