Important results from the project
The aim of project is to compile and by active dissemination strengthen use of R&D and professional experiences, highlight innovative solutions, good examples and success factors improving intermodal interchanges and use of public and sustainable transports. Essential targets are to collect and disseminate research findings and professional experiences to give inspiration, innovative and good examples how functional needs can be satisfied to identify further needs of facts, methods and process knowledge
Expected long term effects
The project is assumed to contribute to active dissemination of knowledge by regional seminars easily accessible knowledge about functional demand, methods and good practice identifying further need for R&D The compilation of knowledge and experiences is aimed to inform, inspire and be a book of reference when implementing or renewal of stations and interchanges in Sweden.
Approach and implementation
Existing knowledge and methods are compiled systematically for planning and implementation of interchanges, effects, innovative examples and good practice in Sweden and abroad. The compilation is made easy to overview and read.
