Purpose and goal
The goal of the project is to develop a joint application for a research project within IEA-DHC ANNEX XV,with participation from Sweden,Germany,South Korea and France.The aim is to perform activities that develop the project idea, define the partners´ roles, commitments and distribute the work to write a competitive application.RISE will ensure a leading Swedish role, take responsibility for experimental parts and introduce PipeOpsy, a unique Swedish method for evaluating district heating pipes.
Expected effects and result
To write a competitive application with a strong Swedish role and participation within IEA-DHC Annex XV by -developing the consortium´s composition, collaboration -resulting in a current project idea -strengthening the role of Swedish research in the main project with the RISE DH-testbed and scientific publications as a basis. -introducing PipeOpsy as a unique Swedish evaluation method for the status assessment of pipes for the main project. -contributing to sustainable resource and energy use
Planned approach and implementation
The project is divided into work packages: •WP1 To familiarize the participants with each other´s expertise, acilities through presentations and brainstorming. •WP2 A literature review and a detailed plan for the project´s implementation with a focus on RISE´s DH-testbed •WP3 Write a concise application with an engaging description for the first assessment stage emphasizing Sweden´s key role. •WP4 Write a detailed application for the second assessment stage in combination with a personal meeting
