The purpose of this project is to analyze the current situation for open data in Sweden, including an analysis of the need for measures to strengthen the development of open data.

The study includes an analysis of the following areas: Stakeholders in open data Possible business models for open data The authorities´ work with open data Strengths and weaknesses of open data at present Need for measures to develop open data in Sweden This report is based mainly on interviews with people with great insight in open data and the reports that the government has requested from selected agencies based on their work with open data. Furthermore, the few reports written about open data used.
