Call Impact Innovation: Preparatory project for a reformed public sector

Purpose and goal

The project aims to map the needs, barriers and drivers for healthy and sustainable eating habits in co-creation with people in economic and social vulnerability. The goal is to develop a knowledge base that strengthens the public sector´s ability to develop inclusive and needs-adapted public health interventions. The results will lay the foundation for long-term system change and future implementation projects.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in the identification of barriers and opportunities for healthy eating habits among people in economic vulnerability, validated through surveys, interviews and workshops. The long-term effects will be more targeted and preventive public health interventions, increased collaboration between public actors and civil society, as well as strengthened trust and better conditions for the target group to make healthy choices.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is conducted as a feasibility study with co-creation at its core. Through surveys, interviews and dialogue with Matmissionen members, insights about obstacles and needs are gathered. The results are analyzed in workshops with a reference group consisting of individuals from the public sector, academia and civil society. The work is organized into four packages: project management, data collection, analysis and communication, with ongoing reconciliations for quality and learning.
