Alternatives for Swedish post-event linked to the ministerial road safety conference

Important results from the project

** Denna text är delvis maskinöversatt ** The project aimed at producing alternative proposals for Vinnova´s desire to link an event to "3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety", to present a decision basis and, if applicable, to execute the decision. Alternatives were developed and presented. The chosen alternative has has been executed: after competition, the workshop "Safe future of safety" was selected for TransportForum 2020, and also classified as a pre-event to the conference. The pre-event was carried out on January 8, 2020. The objectives have thus been fulfilled.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är delvis maskinöversatt ** The result is that alternatives for a pre- or post-event to the Ministerial Conference on road safety have been developed. The chosen alternative has been planned and implemented. The effect is that a workshop at Transport Forum 2020 has addressed the theme "Safe security in the future´s mobility" and how R&I&D can contribute to this. The event is listed on the Ministerial Conference website as a pre-event.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är delvis maskinöversatt ** Initial conversations with Vinnova were conducted to clarify the scope. Dialogues took place with organizers of pre/post events for the conference. Alternatives were presented to Vinnova. The selected alternative (activity at Transportforum 2020), a candidate pre-event to the minsterial conference, was successfully offered to Transportforum. A workshop was designed, panelists, moderator were engaged. An application for classification as pre-event was submitted and granted. The workshop was held on January 8, 2020.
