Purpose and goal
The project addresses a critical safety issue in construction. By developing an AI model for real-time structural calculations of scaffolding and hoists, we aim to reduce delays and the shortage of engineering resources. The goal is safer, faster, and more accessible project planning, fully integrated into Scaffcalc’s 3D design tool.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to reduce scaffolding design lead times by over 90%, enhance safety, and lower material use through more precise calculations. Outcomes include streamlined workflows, improved work environments, and a digital leap for the industry by applying AI-driven technical simulation.
Planned approach and implementation
The project follows four phases: requirements gathering, AI model development, integration into Scaffcalc’s 3D tool, and pilot testing with industry partners. Using an agile methodology, results are continuously validated in real projects to ensure both usability and technical accuracy.
