The purpose of the call for proposals is to finance project that strengthen the ability to supply the total defense with important metals and minerals. objective of the program is to have an appropriate ability to adapt that is in line with the direction of Sweden's total defense and Article 3 of the NATO Treaty on resilience. This may, for example, involve an ability to maintain or rapidly broaden and increase metal and mineral production.
The call for proposals is aimed at actor constellations consisting of companies in the metal and mineral industry with activities in Sweden, academia and research institutes, as well as authorities and other public actors that can contribute to the call's objective
