Important results from the project
All companies received tailor made support to suit their needs in terms of regulatory classification, route of approval, identification of key stakeholders and access to those, market access and pricing strategies. The companies are now accessing hospital chains, getting traction from customers, accessing clinical data and biosamples as well as initiating clinical studies. A full roadmap has been prepared for all the companies and they are ready to enter the French market.
Expected long term effects
1. Prevention of back pain in millions of people 2. Faster rehabilitation after falls and knee/hip surgery 3. Early detection of arrhythmia, potentially saving millions of lives 4. Early detection of certain types of cancers, leading to faster intervention 5. Monitoring of cancer relapse and progression leading to fast choice of treatment In generel, the solutions offered by the companies will lead to reduced health care spendings, improved patient outcomes and healthier lives
Approach and implementation
The project included tailor made and individualised support to the companies, exposure at events and meetings with key stakeholders. The project followed the time plan with a few minor exceptions due to shift in responsible personel at the French side. More events could have been useful for greater impact and exposure and identification of key stakeholders could have taken place early in the project. In generel, more meetings and events should have taken place early in the project.
