Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project aims to create a new open standard for data-driven design in urban planning. Using advanced AI and algorithms, the project is developing a cloud-based platform, Hektar, that can generate and evaluate hundreds of design proposals quickly and efficiently. During the project, a structured data model that integrates information from different disciplines and scales in urban planning will be implemented. This is to enable a holistic view of the urban environment and to facilitate informed decision-making.

Expected effects and result

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project is expected to result in a structured data model and open standard for urban planning that integrates different disciplines. The model will be implemented in the Hektar platform and will mean that users can modify, update and interact with scales in the model. This leads to faster, informed decisions in urban planning.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into several work packages to structure the implementation. Initially, interviews and needs mapping are carried out with traffic planners to collect important feedback. Protocols and typologies are then defined by analyzing dependencies and coding these in C#. Full-scale implementation of the protocol takes place thereafter, followed by development of tools for interaction with the model. Finally, the model is validated with industry experts and results are disseminated via marketing and launch of the open-source data model.
