Syfte och mål

Define methods for effective and efficient development of safety certifiable E&E systems for multiple machines by using reusable platform solutions supporting all aspects of certification. This will give: Efficiency in product cost and development time Effectiveness in fulfilling the certification requirements This is the final goal for SafeCer and will be completed in nSafeCer. In nSafeCer we will continue developing methods for reusable and re-certifiable E&E platform solutions.

Resultat och förväntade effekter

The pSafeCer project shall deliver: Building up a knowledge base and understanding of ISO 26262 and other functional safety standards. Guidelines based on ISO 26262 Definition of software reuse including Safety Element out of Context (SEooC), that shall be evaluated and used in the E&E development process. Expected Outcome: Increased knowledge base of ISO 26262 and other functional safety standards. Enable development methods to fulfill ISO 26262 requirements Gained knowledge of today´s standards to be used for further elaboration in nSafeCer.

Upplägg och genomförande

SafeCer (Safety Certification with Reusable SW components) is a project initiated by the EU organization ARTEMIS-Joint Undertaking (ARTEMIS-JU). The project involves several partners - industrial companies, universities and research institutes -which contribute to different work packages of the project.
