| Call | Impact Innovation: Implementation project for a reformed public sector |
Purpose and goal
Youth Hub Värmland aims to strengthen young people’s influence in social issues and create a public sector that truly includes youth in governance, planning, and development. The project develops long-term structures and methods that utilize young people’s knowledge and engagement, creating a culture where their voices are integrated into decision-making and development processes.
Expected effects and result
Build lasting support structures with meeting spaces, networks and methods for co-creation between youth and decision-makers. Establish new roles and approaches that strengthen adults’ ability to include young people and shift perspectives from protective to empowering. Increase trust and democratic legitimacy, clarify institutional responsibility for youth participation, and share learning and insights.
Planned approach and implementation
Region Värmland and Youth 2030 Movement, together with municipalities, authorities and civil society, carry out capacity-building efforts, networks and tests based on partners’ needs and contexts. Through the Värmland Academy, idea workshops, unfiltered dialogues and reverse mentorship, new forms of participation are explored. Experiences are shared through regional and national learning events and used to develop a long-term model for organization, ownership and financing.
