Purpose and goal
Home care is the largest part of the Swedish old care for old people to be able to live a relatively independent life. By joining the complementary expertise and existing synergies and resource of the KTH, Mid Sweden University, ABB, Kommunförbundet Västernorrland, and Sundsvall kommunen, we aim to develop wireless-sensor network (WSN) healthcare modules with individual-adaptive sensors to support independent and active older citizens living at their homes with improved safety and quality, and give instruments to home-care personnel in home care to support their care giving.
