Purpose and goal

The project´s aim was a further development of the product, prototypes, outcome tests, field tests for verification, IP and marketing strategy and investigation of business model. A pilot project with an end customer has been carried out to verify the market, technology and take the product closer to the market. The goal of the project has been achieved, ie continued validation of Wavebreaker´s customer benefit to get one step closer to a first contract by carrying out a pilot project with a customer. Furthermore, the goal was to verify market, technology, scalability and business model.

Expected results and effects

The project has reduced risks, validated the product´s customer benefit and come one step closer to a first deal through the pilot project together with the customer.

Planned approach and implementation

Vinnova step 2 reduced the remaining risks such as business, implementation and technology risk with the goal of reaching a first contract, originally in 2021, but due to delays in 2022. Through continued involvement of significant stakeholders who provided important insights during Step 1, the intention was to ensure customer benefit. Vi have: - Validated customer benefit - Verified through pilot project with end customer - Reduced remaining risks - Evaluated business models - Validated scalable production - Prepared for an international validation
