Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of ´Waste Enlightened to market´ was to prepare us for external investments and verifying our market/ begin commercialization of our concept. An IPR-strategy was created and launched We prepared material and met with investors (and got investment-proposals) The segment we have worked towards has shown willingness to buy our product. Additional segments prepared for targeting later. Marketing strategy and businessplan done

Results and expected effects

We are prepared to take on external investments and begin our launch and commercialization. Structure and strategy to take us to market is in place and we are happy about the way our IPR-strategy has developed. We did not customer-cases from three different segments as planned but focused on one segment even though we got interesting requests from various other sectors.

Approach and implementation

The work we have done in regards to attracting investment has been important. We did achieve our goals (we did get offers of investments) but did not have a clear enough picture of what we needed (competence is more important than money). When it comes to customer-cases we used partners to target specific segments. This made us vulnerable to collaboration-problems which led to us not fulfilling the targets of landing deals in three segments. We are very happy about our work with the business-plan, IPR-strategy and marketing-strategy due to good discussions with consultants and coaches.
