Purpose and goal

The project will, together with Akademiska Hus, evaluate the feasibility of Vyse tech´s faucet-integrated hot water solution to reduce water and energy use in larger properties. Through baseline measurements, test installations and analysis of installation conditions, a basis is created for how the technology can be implemented and scaled up. The goal is to develop a plan for broader use, map the savings potential and identify eligibility requirements for future pilot and demonstration projects.

Expected effects and result

The project provides verified data on water and energy savings, technical and organizational eligibility requirements as well as insights into user experience and operational conditions. This data enables Akademiska Hus and Vyse tech to plan the next steps and directly contributes to the mission “Hållbart vatten för alla 2050” by reducing waste, lowering energy consumption and enabling broad implementation of resource-efficient fixtures.

Planned approach and implementation

The project begins with mapping and baseline measurements in selected buildings, followed by a feasibility analysis with prototype test installations, and concludes with an action plan for scaling up. This approach creates a clear basis for decision-making and a concrete path towards broad implementation and commercialization.
