Purpose and goal
Vimotek equips teams at leading space companies with solutions that de-risk and accelerate missions involving rendezvous and proximity operations—enabling scaling of in-orbit services. This project centres on our OrbitTwin simulation software and its establishment as a stand-alone product offering for commercial customers. It aims to validate the value proposition, develop a business model, create demo scenarios, and establish a framework for intellectual property and data management.
Expected effects and result
Faster, more credible pre-flight simulations and reviews for primes and operators. Lower non-recurring engineering cost, shorter time to evidence, and safer in-orbit approaches. Three demo scenarios and an evaluation build enable paid trials and license revenue. Outcome: a Swedish simulation product ready to scale with partners across the EU and globally.
Planned approach and implementation
Four work packages: WP1 customer interviews, three use cases, ≥3 LOIs. WP2 business model: offers, pricing, channels, contract templates. WP3 evaluation build, three demo scenarios, modularity, simple benchmark, and two live demos. WP0 project control with monthly reviews; tracking via weekly check-ins and Jira. WP4 IP and data rules.
