Purpose and goal

VictoryaHome is an EU project aimed at developing systems and services for monitoring of health and safety that supports social contact. The goal of the VH services is to improve people´s well-being, independence, health and safety of older people, their families and caregivers. The goal has been achieved using the VH system, test the usability and the technology´s acceptance. Results of all data collection takes place in the form of scientific articles.

Expected results and effects

EU project VictoryaHome have been conducted in Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Portugal, according to the research plan. Based on the study design has been implemented data collection with the intervention and control period in 2015. Results of the data collection will be published in scientific papers. Published articles, Care in the Clouds in International Innovation (Feb 2015), VH project won the 2015 AAL Award 2015.

In the thong and Eskilstuna municipality has seven older people, their families and health professionals involved in using the VH system. Two elderly people have continued to use the VH in 2016.
