Purpose and goal
LU Innovation, which manages Innovationskontor Syd, and Lund University´s holding company LU Ventures AB will, with Verification for growth 2025, support ideas from research to become knowledge-intensive growth companies, with a special focus on deeptech companies, to strengthen Sweden´s growth and international competitiveness.
Expected effects and result
Objective is to annually support 30-40 new knowledge-intensive projects, at least half of which should be of a deeptech nature, and verify these against the market.
Planned approach and implementation
The VFT funds will be used in our existing innovation development process to effectively verify the value creation of ideas for potential customers and users. Activities are carried out in stages with the objective to develop strong foundations for future growth companies.
