Important results from the project
The project met its goals by launching “Use Case Toolbox” on MyAI, a hub for planning and running AI projects. Resources developed include a practical ROI calculator, a whitepaper on value calculation, and the Use Case Playbook handbook.
In addition, the goals were exceeded for mapping through the Municipality Map and the Healthcare Map, which visualize over 1,170 Swedish AI initiatives and have created great interest in increased national cooperation and received widespread media coverage.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to accelerate Swedish AI and strengthen competitiveness. By lowering the threshold for value analysis, more can go from pilot to production. The project´s deliverables, methods and our internal expertise have been directly leveraged in several large-scale projects towards both the private and public sectors as well as the innovation support system. Methods for mapping AI initiatives will also be spread internationally in an upcoming Nordic version of the Healthcare Map.
Approach and implementation
The project was built on the MyAI platform and was implemented according to plan with agile adaptations and national and international collaborations. We also had student employees, which contributed to giving new talents work experience. The process of developing resources has been iterative, where external actors have provided feedback on the products that were developed. This has contributed to the project´s long-term objective of knowledge exchange and cross-sector collaborations.
