Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

The planning project aims to prepare a competitive international proposal under Horizon Europe. It will ensure scientific excellence, strategic alignment, and strong stakeholder engagement. Objectives include developing the project structure, work plan, data and communication strategy for a strong proposal. The main project aims to accelerate the transition toward agroecological and circular green biorefineries that balance food security, climate mitigation, and biodiversity goals.

Expected effects and result

The planning project is expected to result in a competitive proposal that meets all call requirements. Outcomes include a strong, interdisciplinary consortium, a coherent work structure, and a robust implementation plan. The project will enhance international collaboration, strengthen Sweden’s presence in European research, and improve proposal quality. It will also position the consortium to advance climate benefits, biodiversity protection, and a circular bioeconomy through the main project.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be implemented through seven work packages covering coordination, detailed planning, data management, communication and consortium development, for a strong proposal. Emphasis will be placed on quality assurance, co-creation, and strategic alignment across partners. The project involves close collaboration among academic, industrial, and policy actors from several EU countries to ensure the main project´s scientific excellence, practical relevance, and successful implementation.
