Expected long term effects
After completing the project, TWOOD AB has gained a greater understanding of the importance of the company´s IP assets. Through workshops and meetings, a review of the existing situation has been made. An activity plan for continued work has been developed as well as strategic tools that are expected to increase the company´s value and competitiveness.
Approach and implementation
A conscious choice was made to divide the work with the IP strategy into two different actors. This be able to take full advantage of where the company stands today and the needs and challenges that lie in the near future. Two actors with specific knowledge in their respective focus areas were linked to this. One player with a focus on the legal overview of the IP strategy and another player where the brand strategy with a clear sustainability profile is dominant, an important aspect of our business strategy. The arrangement resulted in good knowledge and strategic tools for managing IP assets.
