Important results from the project
The delegation to Argentina and Peru delivered well beyond my expectations. We met with significant actors from the Argentinian mining sector. We explored opportunities to trial our technology in Peru with local mining companies Compañía de Minas Buenaventura, Antamina and Barrick. This valuable dialogue was made possible through local support from Hub de Innovación Minera del Perú alongside fantastic Swedish support Business Sweden Americas.
Expected long term effects
It could lead to establishing the first pilots in South America. This will be a significant step for us, following a recent piloting agreement signed with a major Canadian company that was possible as well due to the support received from Vinnova!
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out according to the plan and schedule. Moreover, as result of out presence there we are scheduling new meetings with organisations that were not able to participate in the program.
