Important results from the project
The project fulfilled the goal of strengthening the company´s international network and creating opportunities for funding, strategic collaborations and commercialization. Swiss Nordic Bio enabled targeted meetings with international investors and industrial actors. An important results was an in-depth dialogue with Roche Diagnostics regarding technology and opportunities for further development of the test.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to strengthen Reccan´s international position in the long term and contribute to a faster path to market. The established contacts can lead to strategic collaborations around product development, technical platform and commercialization. A strengthened network of industrial actors and investors can also improve the conditions for future funding, international establishment and wider availability of Reccan´s diagnostic tests.
Approach and implementation
The focus was on strengthening the company´s international network and creating contacts with investors and potential industrial partners. The approach consisted primarily of pre-booked, targeted meetings where technology, development status and commercialization plans were presented. The meetings provided an opportunity for dialogue around funding, partnerships and continued development. The contacts have subsequently been followed up to explore opportunities for continued collaboration.
