Purpose and goal
The purpose is to advance Cetasol’s internationalisation by establishing a presence in the Singapore market. Cetasol joins the Nordic delegation NSID 2026 to the SWITCH innovation conference in Singapore, a global maritime hub with strong decarbonisation ambitions. The goal is to present Cetasol’s vessel monitoring and fuel optimisation solutions to operators, port stakeholders, authorities and investors, and to identify business and pilot opportunities.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to generate new contacts with fleet operators, authorities and investors in Singapore and Southeast Asia, and follow-up meetings that may lead to pilots or customer agreements. Over time, Cetasol’s position in a strategic market is strengthened, supporting growth and exports. Wider use of the solutions reduces vessel fuel consumption and emissions, contributing to more sustainable shipping.
Planned approach and implementation
Before the trip, Cetasol will map relevant stakeholders and book meetings together with the delegation organisers. During the visit, Cetasol will take part in the delegation programme, the SWITCH conference, networking events and site visits, and hold its own meetings with potential customers, partners and investors. Afterwards, contacts will be followed up systematically to turn them into pilots, partnerships or agreements, and lessons learned will feed into Cetasol’s market plan for Asia.
