Purpose and goal
The aim of the project is to build international business contacts within the electronics and embedded industry and identify potential partners and customers outside Sweden. The trip will also provide insight into current technology trends within embedded systems and semiconductors in Central Europe. Finally, the intention is to increase understanding of European innovation systems and opportunities for EU funding for a small consulting company.
Expected effects and result
After the trip, I expect to have established concrete contacts with relevant companies, research institutes or clusters within my industry. In the longer term, the effect is a stronger position for the company to operate in an international market, better knowledge of how European project financing (e.g. EU funds) works for smaller consulting companies, and a network that can be reused in future business development outside Sweden.
Planned approach and implementation
I will participate on site in Graz during the conference period 6–9 October 2026, including lectures, panel discussions and an exhibition section, as well as possible matchmaking sessions arranged by Silicon Alps Cluster. Before the trip, I will prepare a presentation of my company and identify companies/actors on site that are relevant to reach out to. After returning home, I will follow up on new contacts and evaluate possible collaboration opportunities.
