Travel – participation in LeadIT ITP Cluster Workshops

Purpose and goal

The purpose is to participate in the LeadIT ITP Cluster Workshops in New Delhi 5–8 Oct 2026, where EcoTech represents a Swedish-Indian feasibility study on integrated CCU at a cement plant in India, with IIT Bombay and Ambuja Cements. The goal is to present the project status to ITP´s co-chairs and get feedback for the next phase, deepen the collaboration with the partners, secure data for EcoTech´s energy and renewables analysis, and concretize the path towards a joint pilot.

Expected effects and result

Updated project plan after feedback from co-chairs, agreed data sharing from the facility and a clear roadmap towards the next phase of the program. Effects: a Swedish SME strengthens its position in India´s industrial transformation, gains new contacts with the cement industry, financiers and authorities and provides the basis for a pilot that can lower the cost per ton of CO2 removed and increase the share of renewable electricity in the CCU process.

Planned approach and implementation

One participant (CEO and project manager) travels to New Delhi. 5/10 Milestone check with project presentation and feedback from co-chairs; 6/10 sector workshop cement with, among others, NCCBM and ADB; 7/10 LeadIT ITP Official Workshop; 8/10 EPD Internationals conference ISC2026. In between, project meetings with the partners. The results are entered into the project´s work plan and reported in the final report to Vinnova.
