Total Offerings in manufacturing industries in Sweden - a lift

Purpose and goal

The project should to develop and test a method that support manufacturing SMEs in Sweden in their servification, ie switch from product sales to delivering innovative and sustainable comprehensive offerings based on the value logic/service dominant logic. A film to help create insights, a model to support companies in their servification and a guide, based on the model, has been developed. The guide can be used by companies that want to get started with their servicification. Participants are now further developing its ability to continually create value-based innovation

Expected results and effects

All participating companies have developed new offers (goods and services) and their ability to work with service / value logic which is expected to have an effect in terms of further increasing sustanable innovaton capacity. Guide for "Tjänstefiering i industri" is publicated (first version in Swedish)

Planned approach and implementation

The approach in the project was to implement the three phases consisting of seminars and workshops with groups of manufacturing SMEs in a number of nodes. During the project developed layup, as intended in the original project description, and concentrated instead on a network in Värmland where ALMI Värmland and three companies participated in a more deeper level in terms of both time and greater joint commitment to work together to develop and test the model. Parallel research was carried out both in terms of initial interviews and action research throughout the project.
