Tieto will provide access to expertise in machine learning and data science, technology, design, business development, marketing, and sales etc. The programme will accept applications from Swedish startups (legal entities) and individuals residing in Sweden.

Expected results and effects

The program resulted in a fruitful collaboration between Tieto and the startup companies. All participant managed to fulfill the criteria set at the beginning of the program. All companies completed a business model canvas that was validated by customers. All companies developed and validated a mock-up or prototype. All participants managed to develop a functional minimum viable product validated by customers. Furthermore, the program has resulted in a big step forward for all participants and a closer collaboration between startups and Tieto.

Planned approach and implementation

The program consisted of seven predefined modules all participants had to go through. Starting with identification, training, exploration and ideation, problem validation, solution and market validation, product validation and finally evaluation. Although the timeframe was extended, the final result of the participants has been great. Also, all participants have expressed positive feedback as a part of the evaluation process, hoping to keep developing the collaboration with Tieto.
