Important results from the project
The project has successfully achieved its goals, showcasing cutting-edge DCS capabilities and MIL/CIV collaboration on military-grade hardware in a real tactical edge setting. It has strengthened our understanding of customer needs while positioning Synkzone and Expando as innovators in DCS and secure interoperability, demonstrated at NATO’s prestigious CWIX interoperability exercise and more.
Expected long term effects
The project has strengthened the partners’ positions within the defense sector and laid the foundation for continued collaboration with new partners and the Armed Forces. In the long term, the results are expected to help establish a sustainable business presence, enabling Synkzone and Expando to pursue joint opportunities and drive technological development for future operational needs.
Approach and implementation
The project was largely carried out according to the original plan. As it gained opportunities to integrate the solution with other partners in tactical edge environments and participate in more extensive demonstrations and interoperability exercises, these activities were prioritized over internal ones. This provided broader and stronger exposure than initially planned in the application.
