Purpose and goal

The goal of the project was to take a first step towards an integrated test environment for the process industry, where several other test environments with specific test equipments are integrated. This testing environment is intended to be used to create new innovations, products and systems that can be used by the process industry to increase its productivity, efficiency and competitiveness. The project has created an initial network and a first lab that combines a physical environment with a virtual cloud solution.

Expected results and effects

The results of the project are a) A network of stakeholders and pilot facilities and labs at companies, institutes and academia. b) A concept for a virtual automation system lab integrated with physical facilities. c) The development of various use cases to test that SALLP has the necessary functions. The effects are expected to be that SALLP becomes a natural arena for tests and innovations in the Swedish process industry. By expanding the network of stakeholders, we can broaden the use of the resources created in this and future Projects.
