Purpose and goal
Smarter Electronic Systems hereby applies for increased funding of SEK 350,000 to enable the implementation of the program´s final conference in 2026. The final conference marks the conclusion of a twelve-year strategic innovation program (2014–2026) within the framework of Vinnova´s effort on strategic innovation programs. The final conference will take place on 14-15 October 2026 and will last 1.5 days. We have planned for 120 participants, with the possibility of expanding to 150 participants
Expected effects and result
The goal is to make visible in a comprehensive and accessible way the results, lessons learned and system effects that the program has contributed to during its years of operation, and to clarify the crucial role of electronics for Swedish competitiveness, innovation and societal transformation.
A central goal is to be able to hold the conference without a participation fee, to ensure broad participation from industry, academia, public actors and other innovation programs.
