Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** aim of the project was to extend AstaZero´s knowledge of simulation to improve testing and validation of ADAS and AD vehicles. The goal was to increase the efficiency of tests, improve the efficiency of test tracks and contribute to the technical discussions with external partners for future research projects. By some for the industry the proof-of-concept developed in this project and develop the test control system to support more standards and automation that comes from in the simulation world.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project resulted in improved methods for testing and validating ADAS and AD vehicles through simulation, at AstaZero. Development of 3D models, AR and VR technologies, and system integration. Expected effect is to increase the efficiency of the tests and streamline the use of test tracks and simulation in the future, which can lead to safer and more efficient ADAS and AD systems. prepare for future needs in AD and ADAS testing. New project with industry that uses these results and further develops the concepts for greater use.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project consisted of a small team, which grew over time, focusing on simulation and digital twins. We used a hands-on approach, completed five work packages, and followed an iterative code development approach. The result was an efficient achievement of our project goals through the development of 3D models, AR/VR applications, test rigs, interface and integration with the test control system, and better understanding and integration of OpenSCENARIO in many R&D tools.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
