Call Impact Innovation: Preparatory project for a reformed public sector in 2026

Purpose and goal

The project aims to strengthen the ability to detect, understand and act early on signals of involuntary loneliness and fear of falling among older people living at home. Within six months, the goal is to develop a solution concept and decision-support material for further development, combining AI-supported, source-traceable knowledge synthesis (including a signal catalogue), a collaborative lab and a responsibility map.

Expected effects and result

The project will test a method for AI-supported, source-traceable knowledge synthesis, including a signal catalogue, a collaborative lab format, a responsibility map and recommendations for next steps. The intended impact is greater shared awareness among relevant stakeholders of how to detect and understand early signals, identify gaps in responsibilities, and explore relevant solution pathways for more proactive preventive measures.

Planned approach and implementation

Four work packages: 1. Scoping, mobilisation and secure information. 2. Knowledge gathering and AI-supported synthesis. 3. Collaborative labs where elderly, relatives, civil society, academia, municipalities and regional primary care will be invited. 4. Development of a solution concept and decision support material. Input from dialogues and text will be analysed in a controlled AI environment. The analysis will be reviewed and validated through the perspectives of participating stakeholders.
