Important results from the project
The GridEx system with SecurEx functions handles with full cyber security, monitoring and maintenance process for intelligent networks IEC 61850 in electric power station. With the help of the new GridEx SecurEx system, it is possible to monitor an electric power station safe environment. These applications monitor both infrastructures, permits and events during operation. The system can be used during construction, installation, operation and maintenance.
Expected long term effects
Our product SecurEx got a slightly changed design due to a new released patent from a competitor in the middle of the project. The change was to solve this with the software functions on our existing hardware GridEx. With this solution: GridEx SecurEx, we have been able to offer smart features and demonstrate them live in India, Australia, Hong Kong / China, currently active markets within SmartGrid.
Approach and implementation
The project has focused on the software development since we identified an existing hardware solution already approved for electric power stations.
