Purpose and goal
Through the project" Support to start-up companies via excellent incubators", Science Park Gotland will promote the development and value creation of new knowledge-intensive companies with great international potential within the region.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to increase the ability of relevant companies to commercialize more quickly and to become internationally competitive, through the processes and program provided by Science Park Gotland (SPG). The target group is new companies that, through a unique knowledge advantage, can grow in an international market at the same time as they contribute to the realization of the goals in Agenda 2030.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be implemented through the following two main steps/processes: Selection process: SPG will actively search for companies that meet the criteria for the incubator with a focus on sustainability and equality. Furthermore, SPG will work with these companies during the selection process in ordet to develop and determine the conditions and suitability to later take the company into incubation. Incubation: During the incubation, SPG will continuously support companies through access to advice, capital, customers and skills.
