Important results from the project
The project achieved its initial goals by building a strong European consortium and developing and submitting a competitive Horizon Europe proposal in cardiovascular health to HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01DISEASE-15 call. Additional important results include new collaborations with leading research, healthcare, and policy organisations, as well as synergies with key EU initiatives. The project has established a solid foundation for future EU projects and long-term cooperation.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to strengthen Europe’s capacity to scale up innovation in cardiovascular care through improved coordination between research, policy, and healthcare systems. Approach and implementation
The project was implemented as planned through three work packages: consortium building, concept development, and proposal writing. Key activities included partner engagement, analyses, and iterative drafting. The timeline was followed, and the proposal was submitted as scheduled. Collaboration worked very well. Minor adjustments in partners and roles occurred, but no major external factors affected the project.
