Call Impact innovation: Delta i omställningslabb för framtidens attraktiva och tillgängliga livsmiljöer

Purpose and goal

The project aims to increase the reuse of construction materials by developing efficient material flows and an open digital marketplace. The goal is to create standardized and scalable processes for material flows, facilitate industrial reuse, and develop a sustainable business model that enables regional and national scaling-up of circular construction.

Expected effects and result

We expect increased circulation of recycled building materials, optimized material flows and a prototype of a user-friendly digital marketplace. The project will contribute to reduced resource consumption, lower climate impact and promote a long-term sustainable business model and a systems perspective for circular construction that can be scaled nationally.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is being implemented in Dalarna with municipalities, academia and companies as a local development arena. The initial focus is on materials that can be reused directly, as well as processes for inventory, dismantling and logistics. The digital marketplace is being built and tested in an agile manner with continuous feedback, and the experiences are used for regional and national scaling up with a focus on openness, user-friendliness and long-term sustainability.
