Important results from the project

The main goal of the trip was to present Eneryield´s machine learning methods, and thus explore the possibilities for a future pilot project. However, since the conference was cancelled due to Covid-19, these plans were revised. The goals have thus not been met. As soon as the conference is arranged, Eneryield intends to participate, with the hope that then the goals will be met.

Expected long term effects

The conference would serve as an initial contact area between Eneryield, other startups and larger companies such as General Electric. Furthermore, the conference would provide valuable feedback on relevant application areas. As Eneryield never participated in the conference, the meetings were cancelled. Because of this, the project had no effects at all. The conference will hopefully take place in the future, and the company is looking forward to the value that may imply.

Approach and implementation

The conference would have runned over two days (March 23-24) and would have served as a good platform to reach out to representatives working with power electronics, digitalisation and AI. Due to the COVID-19, the conference was postponed. Since Eneryield never attended, it is not possible to analyze the conference further. Instead, this must be postponed to the future, when the conference hopefully will take part during the autumn 2020 or spring 2021 instead.
